Okay… General Assembly, we’re home, unpacked, and still jazzed up thinking about YOU!
We say it all the time (but it’s sooooo true), our favorite thing in the world is connecting with the people who make the YMCA what it is! You’re making such a difference in your communities, bringing people together, supporting families, and making juggling about 500 things look EASY!
We want you to know we’re listening
We had so many great conversations at General Assembly about what's happening at your Y, what you're planning next, what your staff and members are loving, and what programs you need help with making a little more fun...
Healthy Kids Day? Yep.
Membership programs? You got it.
Staff engagement? Absolutely.
Back to school? We’re in.
Camp? Always.
And everything else you’re dreaming up in between? We want to help with that too!
We love hearing what you’re working on because it helps us think about how YShop can actually add support and value to your Y. Not just with products, but with ideas, inspiration, and a little extra Y spirit along the way!
The YShop booth was a pretty fun place to be
We had SO much fun at the YShop booth this year! And we really mean it when we say we appreciate every single person who stopped by. It was so much fun seeing familiar faces and meeting new Y leaders!
Some of you stopped for a quick hello. Some of you stopped for a while and gave us really awesome feedback. And some of you just saw the selfie frame and thought, “Okay, I have to do that!” lol!
And then there was the tote raffle.... HUGE shoutout to our awesome winners! We hope you’re already putting that YShop tote to good use. Thank you to everyone who entered, participated, and stopped back by the booth to play along! We love being apart of this amazing community!
General Assembly is about getting your feedback in real time
Thank you for sharing what you enjoy about YShop, what you want to see next, and what would actually be useful at your Y. You gave us plenty to take home, think about, and get excited about!
That kind of feedback is so valuable to us because we don’t want to create products just because we think they’re cool... We want products that make sense for your programs, your staff, your members, your events, and the day to day things you’re actually doing at your Y.
So please, keep the ideas coming! If you saw something at the booth and thought, “I could use that for BLANK,” tell us! If there was something you wish we had, tell us! If you have an idea that you think would be perfect for the YMCA, we want to hear it!!! We’re alllllllllllll ears.
