Our Summer Tour continued with a stop at the Lake Geneva Family YMCA! We had the pleasure of spending time with the Lake Geneva Family YMCA team, learning more about their Y, their community, and the meaningful ways they continue to serve their members every day.
One thing was clear from the moment we walked through the doors: Lake Geneva Family YMCA is built on relationships. Relationships with their members, their community partners, their volunteers, and the people who help make their mission possible.
One of the most inspiring parts of our visit was learning about Lake Geneva Family YMCA’s commitment to supporting the community beyond their walls. They launched community lunch initiatives to help local families, providing weekly support through strong partnerships and generous donations. This is what the Y does best: showing up when people need it most.
From their swim team and aquatics programs to Rock Steady Boxing, a program supporting individuals with Parkinson’s through boxing-based fitness, this YMCA continues to create programs that truly impact lives.
Our biggest takeaway from this visit? The heart of Lake Geneva Family YMCA is its people.
They are not just creating programs. They are creating connections. They are celebrating volunteers. They are supporting families. They are building a stronger community.
And that’s exactly why we love working with YMCAs!
